Roll 10
This game is a fun way for students to learn the basics of music—like note names, rhythms, symbols, and dynamics. It's perfect for beginners just starting out to learn different notes, values, dynamics, and time signatures.
Game Setup and Instructions
- Choose One Music Die: Select dice based on what concepts you want to practice.
- Players: 2 players (student and teacher/parent)
- Location: Great for private lessons or home practice with any instrument.
How to Play
- Place 10 small game pieces (like dominoes, coins, or pennies) between the two players.
- The student rolls the die and identifies the music concept shown.
- If the student names it correctly, they win a game piece.
- If the teacher or parent needs to help, they get the game piece instead.
- Continue playing until all pieces are claimed. The player with the most game pieces wins!
Repeat this game daily until the student can earn all 10 pieces independently.
