Musical War

"Musical War" is a fun game to help students learn note and rest values.

What You Need: 

• Either 2 red rhythm dice, 2 dark green rest dice, or 1 red rhythm die and 1 dark green rest die. 
• 2 Players
• 20-50 game pieces (like gems, chips, or pennies).

How to Play:

1. Both players roll their dice at the same time.
2. The player with the longer note value wins a game piece.
3. If both notes have the same value, it’s WAR! Double the game pieces and roll again—the winner takes all those pieces.
4. If it’s a tie again, double the pieces once more and roll until someone wins.

The game continues until all pieces are claimed, and the player with the most game pieces at the end wins!
